Looking for an innovative way to create an insatiable market for

Just take a lesson from & Dan Walsh, a Houston-based Senior
Brand Manager for Coca-Cola. Coca-Cola was looking for a way
to market its new Hi-C Sour Blast juice boxes. He hired POP Marketing
Group, Inc. of Covington, Kentucky to produce a candy tattoo
in Hi-C's sour green apple flavor. The candy product insertion
in Teen People was an advertising industry breakthrough. More
than 10,000 readers logged onto a web site to request more free
samples. POP has also created tattoos in Vanilla Coke and Cherry

Marketing guru Jeanie Morgan is President of POP Group,
Inc., a Covington, Kentucky marketing agency and "think tank" for
Fortune 500 companies such as Procter & Gamble, Coca-Cola,
Disney and Marvel Enterprises. The Coca-Cola campaign was just
one of her success stories. This sort of product branding has
been her forte for years.
According to Morgan, inventing and producing the tattoos was a
fluke. While working on a promotion for a client Morgan dreamed
up the candy tongue tattoo idea. Realizing she had something unique
and, with a provisional patent in hand, she began producing the
candy tattoos in early 2003 under the corporate name Tasty Adventures,
Inc., LLC. Along came Coca-Cola and others wanting to try this
innovative and ultimately successful marketing technique.
In February 2008, Morgan reached an agreement to partner with
Galerie USA in a concentrated effort to create brand recognition
for the candy tattoos in retail/wholesale markets. The birth
of Tung-Toos!" was
underway. Galerie has successfully placed Tung Toos with Walmart,
Target, and Drug.
